I was going to title this "kid-free post!" and shock you all...but then a few photos with kids snuck in, sorry. On Wednesday we went to the Pacific Science Center with Grandma Harbor. The first exhibit we ran to was the Butterfly House. It's my favorite and my mom's as well. It is about 84 degrees inside and right now the flowers are in bloom so it smells extra delicious. It's like walking into paradise! I can't show you the smells, but this post is all about the butterflies and their habitat at the Science Center. Tomorrow I'll show the rest of the adventure.
Oranges and blood oranges--the focus was supposed to be on the brilliant blue of the small butterfly.

That is a beautiful exhibit! I love it in there too!
In theory that sounds gorgeous. That being said, I think I might be creeped out by the butterflies too! I love the look of them, but the flapping around me wouldn't suit me, I'm afraid. I love looking at your pics tho!
Ah, a breath of spring! I think I would really like that "paradise" also. Glad you included a picture of the kids....always glad to see them!
We enjoyed our visit to the Science Center there, and I agree that the butterfly exhibit was a favorite of ours also! A bit warm and humid, but for those of us in the NW, it's a wonderful experience in the wintertime! And it's great for kids to explore the bug world up close. When we were there, the girls got to hold a huge cockroach! You couldn't pay me to do that!
BTW, your kids are really growing! We haven't seen your family in a while, so it's really nice to see your blog. I might actually recognize them when we visit down there now! LOL)
that last pic of Ezra- too hillarious!!!! Who teaches him that!! ;) haha!!! ~Cath
