Often in the morning in that period just before and/or after breakfast we experience a few beautiful moments of quiet self-entertainment. Sometimes they even--wait for it--play together happily! I captured some of this play just the other day.
Just before I ran for my camera, Caroline was laying under the baby blanket with all her dollies and when I walked by she said "shhhh, we sleepin' ".

That quiet, playing together business is my very favorite thing. There's nothing like hearing conversation and giggles from the other room, with no imminent worry that someone is getting choked, or their eyes are in danger of being poked out.
I love mornings too. The quiet play and getting alond, if only it lasted all day!
