After we all left the creek, we hustled ourselves into fancy duds and gussied up our hair the best we could. Then it was off to the weddin'. Miss Ella and Miss Caroline had to be on time so that they could hand out programs to all the guests upon their arrival. The girls had fun with their job. The outdoor wedding was gorgeous! My sis-in-law Heather used my camera during the wedding since I was busy with Henry. These first dozen photos are to her credit.
Little boys just adore weddings. They love putting on fancy clothes and geling their hair. They are overjoyed to witness to people in love. They especially like sitting quietly and sedately for the program. Ha!
Cousin Phil ushered Grandma in.
The pretty mother of the bride.
Cousin P looking gorgeous as a bridesmaid!
Henry was making some noise just before the start of the wedding so I ran off to get him to sleep and was able to slip back into my seat when everyone stood for the bride's entrance. It was nice to have a sleeping baby so that I could pay attention to the goings on.
A lovely singing of "Here is Love"
And then they were one!
These girls became fast friends after spending two weekends in a row all together. We wish Amelia could live up this way all the time! Or maybe Ella and Caroline will just have to visit So-Cal more often : )
I do not even want to try to imagine what was being said or plotted.
Oh my word! These two were banging their knives and forks together and singing "Here Comes the Bride...." and I think you know the rest of the words.
The center pieces were so pretty and whimsical.
Becky looked very movie star-esque .
Two outdoor weddings in a row proved to be great fun for all the kids. And Janie was kind enough to provide a large creek at her wedding. There were warnings of keeping a close eye on our children. Mostly, we did. Kids are magnets to water.
Ella looks like she belongs in a magazine!
Wyatt has 4 arms!
I wished that I could hear what they were saying as they threw rocks together.
Amelia is an amazing supervisor! I have loved getting to know her as she grows up. Seriously, cutest little girl-woman.
Levi and I are soul-mates--he was not willing to let a single crumb go to waste. I took the easier route and just ate two cupcakes : )
Although, I had to share my frosting with Hen-dog.
Brothers.
Cousins
Shenanigans
And then, they were off.
It was a beautiful wedding and we were happy to be invited to share in it. After it was over we headed off to watch the 4th of July fireworks. Not a bad way to celebrate Independence Day!

Thanks for sharing all of these photos, you got a lot of great ones! It was fun getting to see you guys twice. :)
Yes! Thanks for sharing. As a non-Facebooker I've missed the photos so far. Your photos of the kids are beautiful, and I really like the shot of Janie's dress @ the end.
