Consider the lilies of the field....

how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe ye?

Good words to remember during troubled economic times...
The flowers and landscaping around this house are just tremendous. Every time one thing finished blooming...and new set of flowers start producing. I am enjoying this magic garden so much.

Hosta love.

This beautiful archway and climbing rose are out behind the private deck off our bedroom. Lovely!

Yummy smelling dinner-plate sized roses.

This is the only plant I can claim as mine. It's a Disney Land Rose my mom-in-law gifted to me at the time of my Grandfather's death as a memorial. It's the only plant I dug up and brought with us from my gardens in Snoqualmie.

Now, I know that the term "zucchini coming out my ears" is nothing new. And it's quite an annoyance to some. But I LOVE zucchini, and I am quite happy to report that I do indeed have zucchini coming out my ears already. We've had it fried already and last night I served zucchini casserole for dinner. MMMM, nothing else quite says summer : )
The gardens looking a little bigger. I desperately need to get my beans some rope poles to climb...
Considering the lilies.

Okay, I asked one of them to kiss the other's cheek and they both tried to do it and it ended up in this wedding photo.

My current favorite picture of my kiddos.

Aaaawww! CUTE kid pics. :-) Love your flower pics too. Funny, I am collecting pics of my flowers as they bloom to do a post similar to this one. I've got two more that need to bloom before I can. :-)

Flowers are the jewelry of our planet... saw that quote somewhere, and loved it. So true!

I wish that I could say that we had zuccini coming out our ears! But alas this year we were dealing with the puppy and decided not to plant....I'm regretting it now! I agree with the new favorite pic of the kiddos! Stinkin' adorable!

Good to see you are thriving in your new digs. Don't be afraid to toss a few squash over the fence, they will probably multiply out there too! Wish we could get down there to have tea, but will definitely call ahead!

You do have some beautiful flowers to enjoy and it sounds like you are indeed enjoying them. Love the kids.....oh I love them! And you and Tadd too you know! I forgot to plant a zuchini one year and while I could get them when I wanted it is soooo much better to just head out to the garden and pick. I am making zuchini muffins...mummmm!

What beautiful flowers you have! A lot to take care of but well worth it I would think! It seems uncommon for a rental to have such amazing gardens.

The last two photos are SO cute!
